A Rowers’ Hidden Haven
|
|
The Upper Valley area of New Hampshire and Vermont is a great
place for rowing, a sport specifically known as Sculling. Don’t
take our word for it: the US Olympic men’s quad and Black Bear
Sculling camp both used the Chieftain Inn to train in 2008. A
premier site for rowers’ this part of the Connecticut River is
extremely tranquil allowing you to view wildlife. Surrounding
the river on either shore are picturesque pasture, forests,
mountains and shear cliffs, making it a rower’s paradise.
